The AI doctor is apparently ready to be sold, but the company needs someone to "bring it to market." That's the tell. If your AI medical product needs a growth hacker before it needs a clinical validation team, you're not in the healthcare business. You're in the fundraising business. This is peak YC-era AI theater. The "founding" title is doing heavy lifting here — it signals equity, autonomy, and mission — but what it really means is "we don't have a product-market fit yet and we need you to build growth loops from zero while we chase the next tranche." There's nothing wrong with that in SaaS. In healthcare, where a bad rollout can literally kill someone, it's more than a little alarming. The regulatory elephant is absent from this job description. No mention of FDA pathways, HIPAA compliance, or clinical trials. That's either because they're targeting the unregulated "wellness" gray zone or because they're hoping to move fast and break things — and in medicine, broken things bleed.
