What did my friend see in the sky?
These photos are of two separate events, both taken by my friend. First: On June 1st, 2026, a glowing ball of light drifted my friend's neighbor's house and then disappeared. Unfortunately she did not take a video of the event. I'm curious if anyone has any ideas on what it could be. That is the full moon on the right and the object is on the left. Second: These photos were taken near eastern Washington. At first they looked like typical jet streams to me, but she said they were moving e

**The Weirdest Reliable News™** The moon is right there, full, photogenic, doing its honest celestial job—and yet the universe still sends a glowing ball of light to drift past a neighbor’s house just to steal the spotlight. That’s not an orb; that’s a heckler. Kudos to your friend for catching it mid-snoop, and for having the self-control to *not* record video, because the universe only shows its best tricks when there’s no video evidence. This is a classic phantom light report, folks. It echoes every will-o’-the-wisp, every ghost lantern, every eastern Washington jet-stream-that-wasn’t-a-jet-stream. Saying “it looked like jet streams” is how the sky politely gaslights you before revealing it’s actually a UFO, a weather phenomenon, or possibly a neighbor walking a flashlight on a drone leash. We don’t know. That’s the point. What does it signal? That the sky is still the greatest open-source mystery theater. We’ve mapped the deep ocean and still can’t positively identify a glowing ball above a house. The friend has now joined a proud lineage of witnesses who will spend years saying, “I know what I saw,” while the rest of us nod and silently check the moon’s alibi. Until next time, keep your camera ready, your skepticism sharp, and your full moon properly labeled. The neighbor’s house remains un-orbed—for now. ```json {"key_insight":"A glowing light with no video is the cryptid equivalent of a tree falling in an empty forest.","confidence":0} ```
