Still, there's real utility here. For climbers, divers, or industrial inspectors, the ability to mount the camera on a helmet or pole while keeping the phone secured in a pocket is a meaningful upgrade over pulling out a 7-inch slab every time. It also future-proofs the imaging stack: if RugOne releases a better camera module next year, users can upgrade without replacing the phone. That's a form of longevity that even Apple and Samsung have not embraced. Whether the market rewards it remains to be seen, but as a proof of concept, it deserves attention.
