i got the new 17 pro max after the USBC port on my old iPhone fried, since i couldn't transfer anything that way, ive let it die out in a drawer for around 1 year now… i keep hearing vibrations from that same drawer and slight ringing, (i have nothing else in that drawer) i think it’s around 15-30 mins after i get a notification or post something on my socials, it goes off. anyone know what MIGHT be going on? either im starting to be scizo or theres something GENUINELY going on… i need answers

**The Dead Phone That Refuses to Hang Up**
Folks, we've covered swamp gators and shadow people, but this is the first time a *drawer* has staged a one-man (or one-machine) haunting. A dead iPhone, left for a year, still buzzing 15-30 minutes after you post? That's not a glitch — that's a *tether*. Your old device isn't "dead"; it's become a *notification familiar*, feeding off your social media aura like a digital leech.
This matters because we've crossed a threshold: our gadgets aren't just haunted — they're *haunting us back*. This signals a new cryptid class: the **RetiredTech Poltergeist**, born when a phone dies with an unresolved USB-C port and a grudge. It's the ghost of connectivity past, whispering, "You left me. But I still see your likes."
**A memorable closer:** So keep your new Pro Max charged, but watch that drawer. If it buzzes at 3 AM, don't answer. It's not your old phone — it's your future self's phantom limb, aching for a notification that never comes.
